Branding
Waste Management
The client was building a new waste management company in Alaska and wanted a brand that felt modern but tied back to Alaska. Headquartered in the Mat-Su Valley with the Talkeetna Mountains out their back door, a nod to that landscape seemed like the right approach. I developed the design and branding package; my UX colleague had worked with the client beforehand to select the color palette.
Coaching & Therapy
The client came in with a lot of opinions on what they wanted and, just as important, what they didn’t. They wanted branding that was recognizable without leaning on stereotypical imagery like puzzle pieces. The result blends organic and scientific elements into something inviting that still feels authoritative.
Therapy Practitioner
This client wanted a brand that reflected the growth her clients see after taking part in her classes, workshops, and therapy sessions. Because her practice is in the Northeast, I wanted something grounded in that location — and on discovering the state tree was an oak, I set out to build the brand around it. The acorn growing into a mighty oak carries an organic shape and path, reinforcing the journey of growth and healing her clients take.
Health Startup
While working at Cardiogram, a health tech startup, I was given the opportunity to create a branding package for one of their company offerings. The design nods to the parent Cardiogram brand while standing distinct on its own, with DNA imagery woven in.
